SFL President Pete Huthwaite announced from training camp this week “that the opening game on June 8th , 2013 will be the first Double Header ever in Pro Football history. ” The games will be played at “the state of the art ” Broward Central Park which can seat 15,000 fans. The 1st game will kick off at 5:00 PM, and will feature the 2012 defending champion Daytona Beach Racers taking on the Palm Beach Swampdogs. The ” Night Cap” will star the up and coming Fort Lauderdale Barracudas against The Miami Ironmen.
